"PROFESSIONAL WOUNDED WARRIORS NEED NOT APPLY"
With the support of the USO, Spartan Race and Tito Ortiz, we are stepping things up for the
4th season - our ALL-STAR season - of "Rehabbing with the Troops"
We officially kick things off Saturday July 23rd when our wounded warriors fly in to LAX on flights donated by our partner AirTran Airways. From there they head to Newport Beach to begin their RWTT All-Star Season "Hell-Week"!
This season won't be like the others. Our All-Stars will be working their butts off during "Hell-Week" training in the gym and on the beach; building and completing Spartan Race obstacles; completing tasks and challenges; living, working and training together.
This season, it's all about team work and dedication. It's about empowering and pushing their limits. Once "Hell-Week" is complete, our All-Stars return home to complete the final five weeks of the season. At home, they have to complete weekly requirements and workouts, create videos and write blogs, recruit friends and family to the RWTT cause and continue living life with a purpose. There is no slacking and it's up to everyone them to rally and support each other throughout the process.

The most exciting element of this season is our "pro" - MMA legend and future Hall of Famer
Tito
Ortiz, who is personally training and creating customized MMA-style
workouts for our wounded warriors. The guys will spend several hours
each day of "Hell-Week" at Tito's Punishment Training Center in
Huntington Beach, Ca working out alongside Tito and his trainers - being
"punished" MMA-style. In addition to this afternoon punishment, Tito is also opening his gym up to them for daily morning workouts.
But "Hell-Week" involves more than just Tito. With the help of Spartan Race, our warriors will build their own obstacles, which they then must complete. They will be camping out each night on the beaches of Newport Dunes with tents and sleeping bags on loan from REI.
RWTT is about more than physical rehabilitation. The program is designed to challenge its warriors, inspire confidence in them while providing a community of fellow injured vets with whom they can relate. There are few things that create bonds stronger than military service but the experience of war and being injured in combat are two of them.

Structured much like the military, "Hell-Week" will require its warriors to come together as a team. They'll do this by living, training, shopping, cooking, eating, completing challenges and sleeping together. Just as it is in the military, our All-Stars will rarely, if ever, be alone during "Hell-Week".
